Work out your FIRE number and how many years until you reach it, based on your own expenses, savings and expected returns.
Your FIRE number is your annual expenses divided by your withdrawal rate. At the traditional 4% withdrawal rate, that works out to 25 times your annual expenses, the commonly cited "25x rule." A lower withdrawal rate produces a larger, more conservative FIRE number; a higher one produces a smaller, less conservative one.
Years to reach it is calculated with a month-by-month simulation of your current savings growing at your expected return, with your monthly contribution added at the end of each month, the same engine used in the compound interest calculator on this site.
